On the Sixth Day (3/6). God made “man” for a specific purpose – to rule over all creation. Man being male and female humans.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image,in the image of God he created them;male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:26-28 | NIV

A short time after the beauty and wonder of creation and the multiplication of man; things went horribly wrong. The male half of “man” somehow decided some crazy things about women and other man (male and female) that looked different.

Wars were and are fought on those differences. A race of people were enslaved and forced into economic labour for hundreds of based on a difference in skin pigment. Women were relegated to second class citizens.

The male man in many races had lost his mind. And in some areas of life in many countries around the world, the male man is very lost in his thinking.

At long last in the majority of countries, we have female suffrage – but didn’t God create man (male and female) as equals…why the hold up?

In almost every country on earth, we are still battling racism – the policy of economically and socially ill-treating people of darker skin tone.

God created man (male and female) to rule. Why are we wasting time ill-treating and being ill-treated by each other? This was never and can never be explained away using any part of the bible; because on the Sixth Day…God’s intention was for man to rule – not to be ill-treated.

Food for thought?

Be encouraged…!!
