Jesus said we should pray and He gave us a template…today we call it the Lords Prayer. Praying alone is perfectly normal and is 100% encouraged. Praying alone and together with another or in a collective comes with an awesome promise.
“One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you“; Joshua 23:10. And in Deuteronomy 32:30 its written “How could one have chased a thousand, and two have put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had given them up?”
When we pray alone, there is power. When we pray together that power is multiplied ten times over. This defies maths I know – it should double with two, not double five times over.
Praying to God the Father through our Lord, Jesus the Christ is an awesome step of faith…essentially you are praying to a God you cannot see; asking for outcomes you hope for, but have no evidence will happen. To the human mind this all sounds like a fairytale…and to the human mind it is. But to those who have prayed for the impossible and have experienced the impossible in their lives its real. Very real.
So stand on the promise – praying alone can put one thousand to flight; praying with another can put 10 thousand to flight…!!
