There is a three in one God head – Father Son and Holy Spirit. And humans were made in the image and likeness of God – the God head. That means we look like God in every way. Jesus came to this earth and He looked so much like us that people then and today doubt that God can look like ordinary people. Hint. God made us to look like Him.

We look like God. However for those fearful of this┬ástatement, let me be 100% crystal clear – we are NOT gods. We are made by God in the image and likeness of God.

Jesus shows us an awesome example, being fully God, He didn’t embrace equality with God. Satan on the other hand, who is not made in the image of God, but is an angel created to worship before God. When he experienced Worship in the presence of God, desired to be worshipped. That is when he fell like lightening – why lightening? Because remember he was adorned in precious stones that would look amazing in light – the light of God.

So Jesus is about to leave the earth and He says something that troubles pastors throughout the world. He says I have done these things but you can do greater.

Just the thought of doing greater than Jesus makes people recoil. Well don’t recoil. Be like Jesus and don’t see equality with Him in God as something to embrace. See equality – joint heirs with Jesus – as something that’s humbling, something that can never be earned. It’s given and received by grace.
